Iron Bridge Project – Raw Water Pipeline
TAMS installed 2 x 300 metre length sheet pile walls to provide a cofferdam enabling safe installation of the raw water pipeline’s watercourse crossing.
The sheet piles provided effective excavation support and soil retention while providing a solution to mitigate onsite above surface and groundwater issues. Excavator mounted, Movax piling units were used to drive a variety of sheet piles to an effective depth, as well as installing round piles to compliment the dewatering effect of the sheet
piles.
Upon completion of the pipeline install, TAMS deconstructed and removed all sheet piles from site.
