Ocean Reef Drilling Campaign

Development WA have undertaken “The Ocean Reef Marina (ORM )” Development, which will convert an existing boat ramp site and surrounding Local and State Government owned land into an iconic waterfront precinct providing a range of recreational, tourism ,residential, boating and employment opportunities.

Ground information obtained, will be used in the design of jetties, breakwater and reclaim ed land that will be part
of the future marina design. Geologists from CMW Geosciences joined the project team onboard to log recovered cores and assist with technical findings ‘in the hole’ to achieve the highest core recovery at each location. Throughout the course of the
project, the core samples were offloaded ashore and transported to Western Geotechnical and Laboratory Services for analysis.
