TAMS contracted to dredge the access channel and swing basin as part of a cyclone mooring contingency plan for the BHP Billiton deep draft harbour tug moorings within Stingray Creek.
The cohesive and somewhat dense nature of the material dredged, extreme tidal ranges (>7m ) and negotiating the busy port were project challenges managed by TAMS
